On September 23rd and 24th, 2023, the 2023 Accounting Academic Forum was successfully held at Shantou University. This conference was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation's Key Project: 'Governance Mechanisms of Accounting Firms and Audit Quality,' as well as the School of Business at Shantou University. Approximately 30 scholars from various universities, including Southern University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, Peking University, Xiamen University, Renmin University of China, and the University of International Business and Economics, attended this event.
On September 23rd, the academic forum took place in Conference Room 1 of the Academic House at Shantou University. The conference began with a paper discussion session, focusing on topics such as 'The Importance of Promotion Speed in Audit Firms'. Following the paper presentations, professors provided feedback and critiques. After the paper critiques, the participating scholars engaged in in-depth discussions on the paper topics, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere."
In the morning of 24 September, Dr Xing Qiuhang of Peking University gave a progress report and work arrangement on the key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. Finally, the meeting carried out employment information sharing activities, and the atmosphere was active.
The Accounting Academic Forum 2023 has a strong academic atmosphere and a warm communication atmosphere, providing a platform for participating scholars to exchange experiences, display achievements and enlighten their thoughts. The meeting was successfully concluded with the wonderful sharing and warm discussion among the scholars.
